1:1 Construction Mock-Up - Manufacturing Drawings

This project delivered a full-scale (1:1) construction mock-up to support a legal defence case. Working with the client team and legal counsel, I converted data from over 75 historic test reports into a manufacturable, physically accurate building section, resolving inconsistencies and gaps in the original information.

I led the design-to-manufacture process, confirming technical and manufacturing requirements through client and stakeholder meetings, and producing detailed manufacturing drawings for full-scale fabrication, including bills of materials and schedules structured to follow the manufacturing sequence. I worked closely with model makers to ensure accurate interpretation and build.

Alongside this, I coordinated suppliers for boards, fixings, steel components, and specialist materials, acting as the central technical point of contact to align legal intent, manufacturing requirements, and physical assembly.

The outcome was a robust 1:1 construction model that clearly demonstrated the contested building details and enabled clear technical communication.
